An Honorable Women with an Honorable History

MARCH is "National Women's History Month. I read that since 1995, an annual proclamation from each President, designates this. In addition, the National Women's History Alliance selects and published the Theme each year. For 2021, the Theme captures the spirit of Women in these most difficult and challenging times. However, I have chosen to share the distinct impact of the history of Rev. Dr. Essie C. Greene, who embodied the essence of a Woman who life journey continues to enhance lives to this very day. Rev. Essie C. Greene was born January 20, 1940 and transitioned from the physical realm on March 14, 2011. She received her early education in her hometown of Seaford, De; graduated from William C. Jason Comprehensive High School and at the age of 60, astonished herself and others by receiving an Associate's Degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling from Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury, MD. She also received her Doctorate Degree in Theology from LOGOS Bible Inst
